Every year, City Council approves the placement of delinquent payments owed to the City on the residential tax rolls.  This is for overdue payments for things like water bills, special assessments, nuisance lawn cuts, etc.  This is a non-confrontational process that historically always resulted in a unanimous vote from Council with little, if any, discussion.  On February 6, 2023, Ms. Miller voted NO on moving $263,000 of delinquent payments to the tax rolls.  Had she been successful in her opposition, the City would have lost $263,000 and set a terrible precedent for all residents.
